Church Army Mission

Brian Norton has provided information about the photographs below.

During our final year the Church Army held a mission with the objective of proving that we were capable of deciding for ourselves when we should go to church. The mission took place over two weeks with midweek voluntary services in church and also at the wings. This march was part of the mission, that was so successful compulsary church parades were reduced from three to one per month.
